PEDRO DE SENNA

Pedro de Senna is a Brazilian theatre practitioner and academic. He is a Senior Lecturer in Contemporary Theatre Theory and Practice at Middlesex University, London. His current research focuses on the relationships between Futures Studies and Performance Studies; between theatre, education and society; and between performance and right-wing politics. He has published on theatre translation and adaptation, directing and dramaturgy, and disability aesthetics. In his practice, Pedro has extensive experience as a director, workshop facilitator, performer and dramaturg.
RUTH GUNSTONE: BEd, MA

Ruth worked in a number of roles in the university sector as a Senior Lecturer, Head of Department and Deputy Dean. Her specialist teaching areas are English Literature and Performing Arts. As Director of Student Services 2010-2017, she ran a big team responsible for student learning, health and wellbeing. Ruth has been actively engaged in local Community Arts as a Trustee and Board Member for Wycombe Community Arts Centre since 2010 and in January 2018, Ruth took on the role of Wycombe Arts Centre Manager in a volunteer capacity. With her enthusiastic team she oversees the day to day running of the Centre, builds partnerships and develops the broad programme of music, performance and visual art exhibitions and events.
